Living the life

We left the marina yesterday morning.  I have to say, I did a pretty awesome job as the only line handler on such a large boat.

We had a great sail to Peter Island.  A gentle 12kt breeze and beautiful blue cloudless sky.  The only hiccup was that the electric windlass (electric anchor winch) gave up and so we couldn't get the anchor down.  No problem because there are countless moorings you can pick up for $30 per night.

I spent the afternoon lazing on deck in the sun, while Gary worked on the windlass and other odd jobs.

We put up our New Zealand flag!  Despite technically not being registered in NZ yet (still in the process), we were just too excited not to.

We cooked a pizza for dinner, which actually worked our really well.  We used this awesome pizza dough that comes in a can, that explodes when you open it. AWESOME.

So not too much news from us, just enjoying the sun, sea and each other :)
