Ah life in paradise, and what better to do than fix broken stuff....
- The anchor windlass needs pulling apart. But my toolkit consisting of a Philips head and a flat head screw driver wont quite cut it... add tool kit to the shopping list! At least Kate would let me buy a multimeter and with that I believe the problem to be mechanical rather than electrical...
- Stop the halyards banging – check
- Stop the fridge rattling – check
- Pull apart the overhead light that is not working to find out why it is not working –check
- Open fuel tank and check that the diesel is clean – check
- Fix the 12v socket – check
- Climb the mast and make the steaming light work – check
- Climb to the top and see what the mast head anchor light is not working – bulb burst
To Do:
- Main saloon fan not working
- Toilets service (all 5 of them)– (oh joy)
- Clean bimini
- Replace cockpit speaker
- Apply sunscreen to Kate
